A oil-spill-combatting water craft for recovering oil which is present on the surface of water. The water craft has at the water level at least one water inlet and, secured just behind this inlet, a collecting boom (2) which extends forwards and outwards, directing water to inside the craft, where there is a separating device (5) for the recovery of the oil from the water. In the water craft of this type the difficulty so far has been that, when the craft travels at a somewhat higher speed, water pressure in front of the boom tends to rise so high that some of the oil-contaminated water (3) "escapes" under the boom (2). According to the invention, this is prevented by arranging, for at least part of the water from which the oil has been separated and which discharges from the craft, an outlet just behind the collecting boom (2). For the rest of the discharging water there is preferably arranged an outlet which is located further towards the bow than is the inlet.

The invention relates to a vessel, presumably fy for collecting floating oil from the surface of the water, one side of which has at least one inlet for water to be cleaned and a boom that is directly behind the entrance and extends from the vessel outwards and forwards to direct the water inwards a vessel in which a separator is installed to separate the oil contained therein from the water.
The purpose of the invention is to equalize the pressure of water at the front and rear of the boom overlap during the collection of floating oil as the vessel moves.
Figure 1 shows a vessel for collecting floating oil from the surface of the water, view in plan; Fig. 2 shows a pipeline structure with two water outlets; on fig.Z - the same, with one exit of water; in Fig. A, a device in plan view; in FIG. 3, a portion of a ship’s side with an inlet and an outlet for water; Fig. 6 is a pipeline C with a separator for separating oil, side view; 7 is the same, in plan view.
The vessel includes a hull 1, a boom 2, collecting surface water polluted with oil 3. A boom boom contaminated with oil water is directed to a pipeline with a curved wall 4 located in the vessel cavity. The pipeline is equipped with a separator 5 for separating oil from water. The device is also equipped with a pipeline 6 for directing the flow of purified water in front of the side obstacle and a pipeline 7 for letting out of the clear water directly behind the boom. The water flow is regulated by a hatch 8 with a hydraulic drive 9.
The device comprises an inlet 10 for oil-contaminated water and an outlet 11 for cleaning oil from the oil, located at the level of the waterline 12 directly behind the boom. The threshold 13 located behind the inlet of polluted water provides transmission

The device works as follows.
When the vessel moves during the cleaning of water 3 from the oil behind the boom 2, a significant drop in pressure is created, while the water level behind the barrier is lower than the water level ahead of it, as a result of which water can flow into the non-operating zone. After passing the polluted water 3 through the separator 5, the oil purified water is discharged through the outlet 11, located directly behind the boom fence 2 at the level of the waterline 12, which allows the water pressure in front and behind the bon cage to rise.
Formula of Invention

Claim
A vessel for collecting floating oil from the water surface, comprising a hull with sides, a bow and aft, an entrance for oil-contaminated water at the water level from each side of the hull, one boom for collecting oil from each side of the hull, attached to the side of the hull immediately after the hull entrance and located outward and forward relative to the direction of movement of the vessel, a separator installed inside the vessel, and a device for discharging purified water from the vessel, installed behind the boom, characterized in that, with c pour water pressure equalization sLeredi rear boom during collection of oil floating during vessel motion, the apparatus for production of purified water from the vessel is adapted to an opening in each side at the level of the water line immediately behind the collecting boom.
